(TAP) - Da Nang City Police have arrested five Chinese nationals wanted for arrest, who were hiding in the area, thereby contributing to more effective efforts to combat crimes involving foreign nationals and transnational crime.

According to information posted on the Da Nang City Police’s official fanpage on August 17, the Criminal Police Division, in coordination with professional units and local police, arrested five Chinese nationals wanted by the authorities while they were hiding in the area. Specifically, the four individuals arrested on August 13, 2026 are: HUANG YANLIN (born in 1973), WANG XUEFENG (born in 1992), ZHANG HUIJUAN (born in 1973), and ZHANG JIANQING (born in 1975). The incident involved coordination with the Criminal Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security and the police forces of Hoa Cuong, Ngu Hanh Son, and Son Tra wards.

Earlier, on July 29, the Criminal Police Division, in coordination with Ngu Hanh Son Ward Police, arrested WANG HONGJIAN (born in 1986), who was wanted by the police of Jiande City, Zhejiang Province, China, under Detention Order No. [2026] 00343 dated July 14, 2026. Through monitoring activities, the management of foreign nationals, and information provided by the Chinese side, the police determined that WANG HONGJIAN had entered Vietnam and was staying in Ngu Hanh Son Ward. Following verification and identity checks, the police located and arrested him at an accommodation establishment.
Currently, the Criminal Police Division, in coordination with the Department of Foreign Relations, has handed over WANG HONGJIAN to the Chinese authorities at Huu Nghi International Border Gate in Lang Son Province, under the direction of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and Da Nang City Police.
